The resulting wines have excellent balance and intensity. Striking in its textural elegance, it's extremely well-coiffed from very angle. Pomegranate, red plum, sweet sage, and cracked black pepper build in the glass. The stem influence (about 50%) is more noticeable here than it is in the other wines in the lineup, but that feels like it works to the wine's benefit in this challenging growing season, lending spicy depth and lift.
